Email Channel
Configure the public support address and verified sending domain for RogerIQ email.
Email Channel
Email setup controls where customers write in and how RogerIQ sends replies.
What to Configure
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Public address | The address customers can send support mail to. |
| Sending domain | The verified domain RogerIQ uses for outbound mail. |
| From local part | The local part, such as support, used with the sending domain. |
| Template mode | How outbound email templates are formatted. |
Recommended Setup
- Use a support identity customers recognize, such as
support@yourdomain.com. - Verify the sending domain before sending production replies.
- Send a test inbound email and confirm it appears in Inbox.
- Reply from the conversation view and confirm the customer receives it.
Runtime Behavior
Inbound email becomes a conversation or appends to an existing thread when RogerIQ can match the thread. Outbound email is sent from the conversation composer and includes the latest message content.
Do not move to Autopilot for email until the sending domain is verified and knowledge coverage is good enough for common questions.
