# Widget Overview

The RogerIQ widget is a customer-facing support surface that runs on your website. It can offer self-service docs search, AI answers, contact messaging, chat, previous conversations, identity, attachments, proactive messages, and event tracking.

## Capabilities

| Docs search | Search published knowledge from the widget. |
| AI answers | Answer visitor questions with citations. |
| Messaging | Create support conversations from the widget. |
| Chat | Start live or AI-assisted chat when enabled. |
| Previous messages | Let returning users reopen prior conversations. |
| Identity | Link visitors to contacts through `identify`. |
| Secure mode | Verify email identity with HMAC signatures. |
| Proactive messages | Trigger targeted messages based on rules. |
| Attachments | Support file and screenshot attachments when enabled. |
| Events | Track page views, custom events, and session data. |
